What are the main types of water treatment agents?(1)

Sep 23, 2017

Water treatment agent is industrial chemicals, domestic water, waste water treatment and other necessary chemicals in the process, through the use of these chemicals, water can reach the inevitable quality requirements. Its primary effect is to control the formation of scale and sludge, reduce the foam, reduce the contact with the water erosion of materials, remove the suspended solids and toxic substances in the water, deodorant bleaching, softening water quality.

1, corrosion inhibitor:

Inorganic salts are quite important for a class of corrosion inhibitors. The chromium, phosphorus, zinc, silicon, molybdenum, tungsten and all organic formulations used in the present invention refer to the use of chromates, phosphates, zinc sulphates, silicates, molybdates , Tungstates and organic phosphonates.

All organic formulations do not use inorganic salts, especially heavy metal inorganic salts, to reduce the pollution of the environment. Organic phosphonates are often used as corrosion inhibitors in organic formulations. Aromatic azole is used for copper and its alloy corrosion inhibitor, commonly used in domestic benzotriazole and mercaptobenzotriazole.

    2, organic flocculant:

Organic flocculant is divided into four categories: synthetic polymer flocculant, natural polymer modified flocculant, microbial flocculant and multi-functional water treatment agent. Synthetic polymer flocculants are mainly polyacrylamide (PAM) and its derivatives. Natural polymer modified flocculants include starch, cellulose, plastic plants, polysaccharides and protein and other categories of derivatives, the current production accounts for about 20% of the total polymer flocculant, microbial flocculant refers to the use of some Microbial secretion of macromolecules for flocculants. The Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Microbiology and other units have good research results.
